Bathroom Sealant - Mastic Man Services
When working on your sites and in your home we can offer a whole range on sealant application with our qualified mastic men. The areas we seal within bathrooms are as follows... Bathtubs, Shower Screens, Shower Trays, Tiles, Sink Basins, Toilets, Windows, Boxings, Floors and any other areas that may be susceptible to water leakage.
When applying silicone bathroom sealant our mastic men will always ensure they use the correct waterproof mould resistant silicone for the job at hand, whilst also making sure the correct and agreed colour match is being used to fit in with your bathrooms aesthetic design.
Shower Sealant
Our Mastic Man covers all areas of shower sealant using the best silicone sealant for showers to completely seal and water proof the surrounding areas.
We would apply mould resistant shower silicone sealant around the perimeter of the shower tray to the floor and wall tiles.
The interior of the shower glass screen to the wall.
Lastly the corners where the wall tiles meet.
Bathtub Sealant
In order to fully water proof your bathtub our mastic men seal the following areas with mould resistant bathtub silicone sealant.
The full perimeter of the bathtub to the tiled walls and floor with a colour match waterproof silicone sealant. We use the best bath sealant for long lasting results.
Bathroom Sink Sealant
When sealing the bathroom sink basin our mastic men will use a waterproof colour match silicone sealant to unsure there is no water leakage.
The entire perimeter of the bathroom sink is sealed to the wall tiles with silicone, if the sink is attached to the floor it will also be sealed to the tiles.
Toilet Sealant
The toilet is sealed in the same manner as the sink basins by our sealant applicators.
Mildew resistant silicone sealant will be applied to the whole perimeter of the toilet to the wall and around the toilet base so that there is no water leakage.
Window Sealant
The bathroom windows can be jointed to either tiles or a plasterboard wall, depending on which one will require a different mastic seal.
We would use mould resistant window frame sealant to seal the windows if they are attached to tiles, however if they are attached to plasterboard a high quality caulk would be used to do the caulking around windows, This is so that decorators are still able to paint over the sealant once completed.
Tile Sealant
Sealing joints in the wall and floor tiles within a bathroom is mainly for aesthetic purposes therefore our mastic man will ensure the correct colour match silicone is used when sealing the Tiles.
The areas of tiles that need to be sealed are in-between all corners of the room when the tiles meet and along the perimeter of the room where the floor tiles meet the wall tiles.
